Carol Wayne Bio
Carol Wayne was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she got her start in show business as a figure skater alongside her sister, Nina Wayne, in the Ice Capades. The show biz sisters had great success in Las Vegas (Nevada) by becoming the showgirls of the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Nina was the first of the sisters to move to Hollywood but soon followed her older sister, Carol, who soon appeared on television in the mid-1960s. Carol was first discovered at a low-key Hollywood party and she auditioned for The Tonight Show after a few appearances as a Las Vegas chorine.
After her discovery in the early 60s, Carol had a huge number of roles to choose from. She had one of her most inspiring performances during one of her well-known shows called J’espionne in 1965.

Personal life – husband, son
Carol has had several romantic partners but married only three times. She married her first husband, Loreto (Larry) Cera, in 1965, but the couple separated amicably three years later, in 1968. She was quick to marry again the following year, just a year after getting divorced., Carol married her second husband in 1969, a rock music photographer named Barry Feinstein.
With Barry Feinstein, Carol Wayne had a son named Alex Feinstein, born in 1970, however seemed to think the birth of a son had not helped save their fragile marriage. Once again, for the second time in her life, Carol was divorced from her divorce in 1974.
In 1975, Carol Wayne married for the third time to Burt Sugarman, who happened to be her last husband. Burt, a television and film producer, served as a producer on Celebrity Pageant. The couple had a fairly successful marriage, but things turned sour about five years later and their divorce was finalized soon after, in 1980.

In January 1985, Carol took a little vacation with her then-boyfriend, Edward Durston, on January 10, 1985, in Santiago Bay, Mexico. The couple were vacationing at Las Hadas Resort in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico.
In the police report, it was confirmed that the couple had a very intense discussion before Carol took a walk on the beach to clear their heads. She was reported missing a few days later, never returning from her walk, and three days after her disappearance a local fisherman found her body in the shallow bay in the area.
After long days of investigation, it’s later local authorities discovered that Carol had left the hotel after their arguments because Durston allegedly left her luggage at the airport, prompting them.

After an autopsy of the body in Mexico, it was revealed that there were no apparent signs of crime or the use of drugs or alcohol. It was later ruled an accident after the investigation was closed. She was 42 at the time of her tragic death.
